“Settings” is to the right of “Devices” and “Sharing” in the navigation menu. Scroll to it or select “Device” and “Sharing” to reveal the “Settings” option.
By default, “Unusual dose”, “Temperature”, and “Expired insulin” alerts are turned on when a new account is created on the Android app.
“Doses” alerts you to log a dose every time or only when you forget to dose for fast-acting and long-acting after a dosing schedule has been set up.
“Unusual dose” alerts you if a dose is much higher or lower than usual or outside the normal time range.
“Glucose reminder” alerts you to check your glucose 2 hours after mealtime doses. Dosing schedule must be set up.
“Temperature” alerts you if your insulin is above 40° C/104° F.
“Expired insulin” alerts you if your insulin pen has not been changed after 28 days.
The dose alerts will be triggered only if a dosing schedule has been set up. This can be done from the “Settings” screen under “Dosing Schedule”.
If you choose to receive alerts for long-acting or fast-acting every time, the alert will appear on your notification tray and logbook at the time selected on the dosing schedule.
If you choose to receive alerts for long-acting or fast-acting only when you forget to dose, the alert will appear on your notification tray and logbook 1 hour after the time selected on the dosing schedule.
