Logging into a Family Member or Friend Account (Android only)

The Gocap app will remain logged in by default. Login only needs to occur once, unless the app is manually logged out, login has expired, or app is uninstalled.

1. Open the Gocap App. Tap the “I’m a user” button. A

2. Tap the “Log into existing account” button. B

3. Tap on the first bar to enter an e-mail address, then tap on the second bar to enter a password, and then tap the “Ready” button. C

Press “Show” to view the characters entered on the password section. Press “Hide” if you no longer want to see the entered characters. C1

5. Type the email address of the person you want to follow. D

Tap on the bar if the keyboard does not appear automatically.

Make sure the user has added your email address on their “Sharing” screen.

Keep in mind that you are only able to see one user’s account at a time.

6.  You can now see the user’s logbook. E

Please note that you are not able to make any changes to their account. However, you can view their setting’s configurations such as alerts and dosing schedule.

If unable to create an account or unable to see the user’s “Logbook”:

  • Make sure you entered a valid email address and are using the email added on the user’s Gocap account
  • Make sure you entered at least 6 characters for the password
  • Make sure you have an internet connection
  • Make sure the user has added you as a follower on their app account
  • Restart app
  • Restart mobile device
